Shipping and Handling

Our shipping policies appear below.  Orders also are governed by our Terms of Use, which you should review.

 

Continental United States Orders

  • Most internet orders placed before 12pm (Eastern Standard Time) Monday through Friday will be processed and confirmed the same day.
  • Please note, orders placed after 12pm Eastern Standard Time Monday through Friday, may not be processed and confirmed until the following business day. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday generally will be processed and confirmed on the following Monday. Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays are not business days and orders will not be processed during this time. We observe most federal holidays.
  • Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and confirmed on Monday (most orders will also ship Monday). 
  • Order acknowledgment, confirmation of product availability, and shipping tracking information will be provided to you via email after your order is processed.
  • Order acceptance occurs only when your order has been shipped. We will notify you by email when that has occurred.
  • Large, Oversized, Multi-boxed items may incur additional shipping and handling charges. You will be notified of any additional shipping charges prior to shipment of your order and you will have an opportunity to cancel or change your order if you are not satisfied with any of the additional charges.
  • Orders are shipped via UPS. A physical address is required for your order to ship. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
  • We verify all credit cards before shipping. In some cases, this may delay stated delivery dates.
  • Actual standard shipping rates at the time of your purchase may vary and will be displayed in your “Shopping Cart” during the order process. 

 

Expected Delivery Dates:

  • All dates are estimates and may vary.  Please see notes below.
  • Standard Ground: 3-7 business days after order has been processed
  • 2-3 Day Express: 2-3 Business days after order has been processed. 2-3 Day Express delivery dates do not have guaranteed delivery times.
  • Signatures may be required upon delivery.  Drivers may not leave packages without signatures, so you must arrange for someone to receive the package and sign for it.  You may want to use a business shipping address to ensure that someone will be available to sign for the package.
  • Transit days for ground shipments and 2-3-Day Express are business days and do not include weekends or holidays.

Additional Shipping and Handling Charges:

If we determine that your order will require any shipping and handling charges in addition to those displayed during the order process, we will notify you by email and ask you to approve the additional charges.  We will not ship your order until you have approved the additional charges, which may delay shipping.  If you are not satisfied with any additional charges, we will offer you the opportunity to change or cancel your order. Orders that need to be shipped in separate boxes will incur an additional shipping and handling charge. We will notify you by email if your order ships in multiple boxes.

Shipping to an address different from your billing address
If you choose to ship to an address different from your credit card billing address, we may contact you to confirm your shipping and billing addresses to prevent possible fraudulent use of your credit card.

Undelivered Package
If the address you provided us is undeliverable, we may contact you to verify your address for reshipment. However, you are responsible for the shipping charges, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package for both the original and the re-delivered shipment.

Tracking an order
All shipment tracking will be sent to the email address you provided at checkout. If you have or created an account, Log in and navigate to the My Account page. Go to your order history to track your packages. If you did not create an account, you may track your package by viewing your order under My Account. Please remember that tracking information will not be available until your order has been shipped.

 

Please Note the Following:

  • For orders that ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Please see the next section for international orders.
  • We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses.
  • Orders placed will be charged Michigan Sales Tax (6%) unless it is not applicable by law.
  • All prices are quoted and all payments must be made in the currency of “$” US Dollars.
  • Glitz & Ears will allow 1 re-ship per order.  This means that we will re-ship an approved exchange once without additional shipping and handling charges, although you are responsible for the return shipping. (see our Exchange Policy)
  • Your order will leave our store in good condition and risk of loss passes to you when we deliver your package to the shipper.  If your order is damaged in shipment, please contact the shipper immediately to make a claim.
  • Prices in our retail store and on our web site generally are the same.  Due to sales, clearance events, or market conditions, prices may vary.

APO/FPO Shipping:

We ship to APO or FPO military addresses. All APO/FPO orders will be shipped via Standard Shipping anywhere in the U.S. without minimum purchase. Express Shipping options are currently not available for APO/FPO addresses.

For APO/FPO shipments, please include the following at check out:

  • Address 1: Grade/Rank/Rating and full name including middle initial.
  • Address 2: Unit and Unit number, Consolidated Mail Room Number, PSC Number, or Ship.
  • City: Enter APO or FPO as appropriate.
  • State: AA, AE, AP, or FP.
  • Country: United States.

International Shipping:

For international orders, please contact us before checking out to be sure that we can ship to your address at 586-286-3006.
